About Doha Institute for Graduate Studies
The Doha Institute for Graduate Studies (DI) is an independent, non-profit higher education institution located in Doha, Qatar. Established in 2014 or 2015, DI specializes in postgraduate programs in social sciences, humanities, public administration, and development economics. The institute emphasizes Arabic as the primary language of instruction, with English fluency required for students. DI adopts a student-centered approach, focusing on interdisciplinary research and academic freedom. It aims to produce skilled researchers and practitioners who contribute to knowledge and sustainable development in the Arab region and beyond. The academic structure includes two main schools: the School of Social Sciences and Humanities and the School of Economics, Administration, and Public Policy.
