About University Foundation College
University Foundation College (UFC) is Qatar's first institution offering globally recognized foundation qualifications through NCUK University Pathways and NCC Education. Established in 2017, UFC provides UK-accredited foundation programs that enable students to progress directly to the second year of undergraduate degrees at over 100 partner universities worldwide, including institutions in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the USA, and local universities in Qatar. Located in Doha, UFC offers specialized foundation diplomas, including the NCUK International Foundation Year (IFY) and the NCUK International Year One (IYOne), with pathways in various fields such as Business, Humanities, Engineering, Science/Medicine, and Art & Design. These programs are designed to meet UK academic standards and provide a flexible alternative to traditional university entry, allowing students to make informed decisions about their degree paths.
